Schedule X posts and threads, counted the way X counts
Refract weighs every character the way X does, so a link or an emoji never surprises you at the last second. Longer text can go out as a thread, and photos keep their alt text.
What you can post
Post
Up to 280 characters, weighted the way X weighs them.
Thread
Longer text split into a thread, at sentences where it can.
Photos
Up to 4 photos, each with its alt text.
GIF or video
One per post, posted once X has processed it.
What Refract checks for you
Checks run while you write, with a fix for each one. They come from the same rules the server uses, so a post that passes here won't be rejected later.
- Up to 280 characters, with links, emoji and CJK characters weighted as X does.
- Text over the limit offered as a thread instead of blocked.
- Alt text on every photo.
- A video still processing at X waited for, not failed.
Connecting X
